These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the SelecTea website (https://selectea.eu) and the purchase of products from SelecTea.
By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please refrain from using the website.

Products

SelecTea sells premium organic teas, herbal blends, and related accessories.

  • Product descriptions, photos, and ingredients are provided as accurately as possible.

  • Natural variations in colour, taste, and appearance may occur.

  • All products are intended for general consumption and are not medical treatments.

  • Customers with allergies or medical conditions should consult a professional before consumption.

Prices & Payment
  • Prices are displayed in EUR.

  • As a “not VAT registered” business, VAT is not charged.

  • Payment is due at checkout via our secure payment partners (Stripe, PayPal, or others as applicable).

  • We reserve the right to update prices at any time.

Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation.
SelecTea reserves the right to refuse an order in case of:

  • payment issues

  • suspected fraud

  • unavailable stock

If an order is refused, you will be refunded in full

Shipping & Delivery
  • Orders are shipped from Dublin, Ireland.

  • Delivery times depend on the destination and the carrier.

  • Once handed to the courier, delays or damage caused during transport are outside our control.

  • The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.

Customs & Import Duties (for international orders)

Customers outside Ireland may be subject to customs duties or VAT in their country.
These charges are not the responsibility of SelecTea.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under EU consumer law, you have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason.

Important exceptions for food products

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Teas, herbal blends or food items that have been opened, unsealed, or used

  • Products damaged after delivery due to improper storage by the customer

Sealed products may be returned if unopened and in resale condition.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

SelecTea is not liable for:

  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • loss of profit or data

  • allergies or reactions caused by the ingredients (full ingredient lists are provided)

  • misuse of products

  • delays or issues caused by third-party couriers

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content (text, images, branding) on SelecTea is the property of SelecTea.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any material without written permission.

User Comments & Reviews

Users may leave reviews where available.

You agree that:

  • You are responsible for your content

  • Your comments must not be unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or infringing

  • SelecTea may remove inappropriate content at any time

By posting a comment, you grant SelecTea a non-exclusive license to use and display it.

2. RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Eligibility

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

To be eligible:

  • Items must be sealed, unused, and in original condition.

  • Food products (tea, herbal blends) cannot be returned once opened for hygienic reasons.

Non-returnable Items
  • Opened or unsealed tea / herbal products

  • Products damaged after receipt

  • Gift cards (if applicable)

  • Sale or clearance items (at SelecTea’s discretion)

How to Request a Return
  1. Email selectea123@gmail.com with:

    • Order number

    • Reason for return

    • Photos if item is damaged or incorrect

  2. Wait for confirmation and instructions.

  3. Send back the product in its original packaging.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrect.

Refunds

Refunds are issued once the returned item is received and inspected.

  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged or used items may not qualify for a refund.
